The 7th International Mathematics Education and Society Conference will be held in Cape Town in April 2013. The First Announcement is now available on the conference website (www.mes7.uct.ac.za).

The conference is co-hosted by the School of Education at Wits, the Numeracy Centre at UCT, the South African Numeracy Chair at Rhodes, and the University of Kwazulu-Natal. We are very excited to be hosting the first MES conference to be held in Africa.
